Motion by Mr. McGovern. The amendment would strike subtitle A of title I and replace it with a requirement that the USPS provide greater transparency in their mail processing facility closure procedures. The USPS would be required to follow the same guidelines and stipulations for closing mail processing facilities as they do for the closure of a post offices. Defeated 4-6.
