WASHINGTON, DC -- U.S. Congressman Pete Sessions (R-TX), Chairman of the House Rules Committee, today released the following statement regarding House passage of H.R. 1120, the Preventing Greater Uncertainty in Labor-Management Relations Act of 2013:
The Committee on Rules may meet the week of April 15th to grant a rule that could limit the amendment process for floor consideration of H.R. 624, the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act.
H.R. 1120 prevents the NLRB from undertaking any activity that requires a quorum of members of the Board until the issues surrounding the current Board are resolved. It also ensures that the NLRB does not implement, administer, or enforce actions finalized since the invalid appointment of three board members on January 4, 2012.

“President Obama’s overdue budget blueprint once again prioritizes growing the size of government over growing our economy and jobs. In a plan that never balances, the President proposes $1.1 trillion in job-destroying tax hikes to fuel more out-of-control government spending.
This legislation will increase domestic energy independence and stimulate job growth by allowing for the implementation of hydropower facilities in existing Bureau of Reclamation water conduits.
