WASHINGTON, DC – Earlier this week, the Rules Committee launched a new website. The site has been redesigned from scratch to provide new tools to better track legislation and to deliver an overall more user-friendly experience. With a new search-oriented platform, it is now easier to find and sort throughthe text of legislation under consideration at Rules, including submitted amendments, and all official documents generated by the committee.
Chairman Sessions made the following statement today about the launch of the new website:
“I am committed to enhanced transparency and access for members, staff, and the general public. This new website builds upon the progress we’ve already made in making the House a more open and accountable institution to the American people. With timely and accurate updates, the Rules website is a go-to destination for information on the business of the House. The new features include important upgrades that will make it easier for citizens to view the inner workings of Congress.”
