The Committee on Rules will hold an emergency hearing tonight, Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at 8:10 PM in H-313 The Capitol on Senate Amendments to H.R. 8, The Job Protection and Recession Prevention Act of 2012 (American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012)
The Rules Committee will meet on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at 8:00 PM or 10 minutes following the end of the Republican Conference meeting, whichever is later, in H-313 The Capitol on H. Res. 843, waiving a requirement of clause 6(a) of rule XIII with respect to consideration of certain resolutions reported from the Committee on Rules.
The House Republican Conference will meet on January 2, 2013 to consider a resolution providing for the Rules of the House of Representatives for the 113th Congress. The text of the proposed resolution, along with a section by section summary, is available at the links below.
