Woodall Responds to Subcommittee Meeting on Biennial Budgeting Act

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Congressman Rob Woodall (R-GA), chairman of the Subcommittee on Legislative and Budget Process, today issued the following statement in response to the subcommittee meeting on a bill to establish biennial budgets for the United States Government:

“Ensuring an effective and efficient budgeting process on behalf of the American people is critically important to our long-term success. As broadly supported, bipartisan legislation, H.R. 1610 is an important part of that conversation. What we learned in today’s hearing moves us closer to crafting a lasting solution, and I’m grateful to Rep. Ribble and each member of the subcommittee for their hard work and contribution to the process.”
