Motion by Mr. Cole to amend the rule to H.R. 1319 to make in order amendment #167, offered by Rep. McMorris Rodgers (WA), which prevents taxpayer dollars under the new COBRA credit and current law premium assistance tax credits from being used to subsidize health insurance plans that cover elective abortion, and also prohibits the use of taxpayer dollars authorized for public health grants and the delivery of health services that are not directly related to preventing and treating COVID-19, to be used for elective abortions.
