Sessions Votes to Help Those Who Need it Most

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Congressman Pete Sessions (R-TX), Chairman of the House Committee on Rules, released the following statement in support of a measure to reauthorize the Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) program:

“For the past seven years this program has responsibly used tax payer dollars to make a significant impact on some of the most vulnerable in our community. MIECHV has made it possible for local, state, and federal officials to work together to help at-risk children and families while ensuring hard earned tax pay dollars are used responsibly and effectively. I proudly voted to reauthorize this evidence-based program to continue to give these families and children the opportunity to build a better life.”
