Summary
The current continuing resolution expires on March 4th. This short term CR is expected to keep the government running for two additional weeks past March 4th. In addition to extending the CR, the Joint Resolution carries $4 billion in spending reductions, all of which are either terminations or eliminations of earmarks recommended in the President’s budget which was submitted to Congress on February 14th.
