H.R. 1255 provides that if the Senate refuses to act on any full year funding measure by April 6, 2011, the provisions of H.R. 1, the full year funding resolution passed by the House, will become law. The bill also prohibits the CAO of the House and the Secretary of the Senate from disbursing salaries to Members during a government shutdown and also prohibits the President from receiving his salary during a government shutdown.
