The Committee on Rules will meet Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 4:00 PM ET in H-313, The Capitol on the following measures:
- H.R. 1023 – To repeal section 134 of the Clean Air Act, relating to the greenhouse gas reduction fund. [Cutting Green Corruption and Taxes Act]
- H.R. 1121 – Protecting American Energy Production Act
- H.R. 6009 – Restoring American Energy Dominance Act
- H.R. 7023 – Nationwide Permitting Improvement Act [Creating Confidence in Clean Water Permitting Act]
- H. Con. Res. 86 – Expressing the sense of Congress that a carbon tax would be detrimental to the United States economy.
- H. Res. 987 – Denouncing the harmful, anti-American energy policies of the Biden administration, and for other purposes. [Rule Markup Only]

H.R. 6276 - Utilizing Space Efficiently and Improving Technologies Act of 2023
Dear Colleague:
The Committee on Rules may meet the week of March 11th to provide for floor consideration of H.R. 6276.
If a Member wishes to offer an amendment for consideration, they must submit a searchable electronic copy of the amendment, which should be provided by the Office of Legislative Counsel, via the Rules Committee’s website by 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 7, 2024. Please note that staff must be on the House network, either physically or remotely via virtual private network (VPN), in order to access the online submission form.
Members should draft their amendments to the text of H.R. 6276, which is available on the Rules Committee website.
Members should use the Office of Legislative Counsel to ensure that their amendments are drafted in the most appropriate format. Members should check with the Office of the Parliamentarian and the Committee on the Budget to be certain their amendments comply with the rules of the House and the Congressional Budget Act.
