WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Congressman Pete Sessions (R-TX), Chairman of the House Rules Committee, today released the following statement regarding the passing of Bob Slaughter, husband of Ranking Member Louise Slaughter:
“I’m deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Ranking Member Louise Slaughter’s husband, Bob Slaughter. Bob was a dear friend to all of us at the Rules Committee, and it is with a heavy heart that we mourn his loss. My thoughts and prayers are with Louise and the entire Slaughter family during this difficult time.”
