Sessions: House Votes to Provide Resources to the Bravest Among Us

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Congressman Pete Sessions (R-TX), chairman of the House Rules Committee, today issued the following statement after House passage of a bill to provide necessary resources to continue essential military efforts abroad:

“The House today passed the FY16 NDAA conference report, which will authorize critical funding to America’s military and ensures that the bravest among us have the resources they need. The Constitution calls on us to “provide for the common defense” and the House acted to do just that. It is my duty and honor to make sure our armed forces are taken care of, and I urge President Obama to sign this bill.”
