Sessions Supports Passage of RAPID Act

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Congressman Pete Sessions (R-TX), chairman of the House Rules Committee, today issued the following statement on the House’s passage of a bill that would streamline the approval process for infrastructure, energy and other construction projects:

“The House today passed yet another bill that prioritizes job creation and economic growth. The RAPID Act is an important step toward eliminating federal red tape that harms the progress of energy and infrastructure projects that are vital to the success of the American workforce. I am pleased to have supported this bipartisan measure that will ensure greater opportunities for hardworking Americans and will continue to back common-sense approaches to eliminating harmful federal regulations that stifle growth.”
