Good evening. Tonight's meeting is on a simple matter – that is, referring the impeachment resolution noticed by Representative Boebert to the Committee on Homeland Security, and in addition, the Committee on the Judiciary. I know that many members on both sides of the aisle have differing opinions on Mrs. Boebert's resolution – which is their right.

Good afternoon. Today's hearing covers three items. The first I'll discuss is H.R. 3799, the CHOICE Arrangement Act, a package of bills designed to give working Americans and small businesses more options when it comes to health coverage.
As prepared for delivery:
Today's hearing covers a single item, a resolution arising under the Congressional Review Act to disapprove of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives' rule that forces millions of law-abiding gun owners, many of them disabled veterans, to dispose of or register their firearms with stabilizing braces.

Good afternoon. It is no secret that Americans are rightfully frustrated with government overreach and overregulation. I've heard the concerns directly from my constituents in Oklahoma. The last thing people want is the heavy hand of the federal government burdening their families and businesses. Yet the Biden Administration has failed to take note. In their zeal to force their progressive vision onto the nation, Democrats have produced egregious regulation after regulation.

Good afternoon. Today we are considering a single item, H.R. 3746, the Fiscal Responsibility Act.
This bill is the culmination of bipartisan negotiations between President Biden and Speaker McCarthy to responsibly raise the debt ceiling while enacting significant spending cuts and reforms.
For months, despite repeated requests from Speaker McCarthy, President Biden, and Congressional Democrats refused to negotiate with House Republicans, insisting on nothing less than a clean debt limit hike.

Good afternoon. Today's hearing covers three items. The first I'll discuss is H.R. 467, the HALT Fentanyl Act.
There isn't a day that passes where one doesn't hear of a tragic story of a life taken by fentanyl. There is no state, district, or community that has not been touched by this scourge. This public health crisis has stolen hundreds of thousands of futures—and it's only getting worse.

Good afternoon. Today's hearing falls at the beginning of National Police Week. Each year, the nation sets aside this time to show special appreciation for law enforcement personnel at all levels. We pay tribute to the brave men and women devoted to keeping our communities and families safe. We also remember the sacrifice of the heroes who have given all in the line of duty. These heroes and their families are never forgotten.

Good afternoon. We are meeting today to conduct a hearing titled "Examining China's Coercive Economic Tactics."

Good afternoon. Our business today is to consider two items. The first I'll discuss is H.R. 2, the Secure the Border Act of 2023.
The situation at our southern border can be described with one word: chaos. It's a national security and humanitarian crisis of unprecedented proportions.
As prepared for delivery:
Good afternoon.
Our business today is to consider two items. The first I'll discuss is the Limit, Save, Grow Act of 2023.
The United States has a serious spending problem. Our national debt today exceeds one hundred and twenty percent of GDP. More than six trillion of that debt has accrued in the last two years due to the fiscally reckless policies of President Biden and Congressional Democrats.
This out-of-control level of spending is unsustainable.
