Good afternoon, the Committee will come to order. Without objection, the Chair is authorized to declare a recess at any time. 
 
We have a lot of business to catch up on given that the Schumer Shutdown has concluded.
 
Today, the Rules Committee is convening to consider eight separate measures: S.J. Res. 80, H.J. Res. 130, H.J. Res. 131, H.R. 1949, H.R. 3109, H.R. 5214, H.R. 5107, and H. Con. Res. 58.

Today, the Rules Committee is convening to finally end the Democrat-induced, Chuck Schumer-sponsored shutdown.

It has been over 40 Days since we last sat in this room, when Republicans advanced a responsible, nonpartisan, clean CR and all but one Democrat voted to shut the government down.
